John Jay LaValle, Jr. joined Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC in the fall of 2026, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong foundation in finance and business development. Licensed in the State of Florida since June 2026, John began his career in the mortgage industry through an internship with NEXA Lending before joining the Lynx team.
Currently a senior at the University of Tampa, John is pursuing a degree in Finance and is expected to graduate in May 2027. At Lynx, he focuses on business development and technological advancement, combining his financial education with an interest in innovation and the evolving mortgage industry.
Born and raised in the waterfront community of Mount Sinai on Long Island’s North Shore, John was a two-year varsity baseball player. Outside of work and school, he enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time by the ocean.
