Zahra Jafri is the founder, visionary, and driving force behind Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC. A natural entrepreneur, Zahra began her career in 1989 by launching her own business under the name Lynx Equities. There, she immersed herself in the New York real estate and mortgage industries, honing her expertise and building a reputation for leadership and innovation.
In 2004, she took the next step by joining forces with her partners to establish Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC—bringing her vision under one roof and setting a new standard for excellence in the mortgage industry.
With over two decades of experience, Zahra continues to lead with purpose and passion.
She is past President of the New York State Mortgage Bankers Association, the Empire State Mortgage Bankers Association, and the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women and the New York Association of Mortgage Brokerage Professionals.
